Job Description

• Work with the Campaign team to implement the agreed constituency campaign literature plan.
• Write appropriate and effective material for campaign leaflets and other literature, the website and social media.
• Work with the team to design, produce and print campaign literature.
• Maintain and update social media, the local party website and other digital infrastructure.
• Attend training and relevant Campaign meetings as required.

Person Specification

The following criteria are considered essential:

• Ability to write and design effective leaflets and related materials for use in the campaign (making use of written material and desk top publishing templates provided).
• Willingness to learn new software systems if required, to produce effective campaign material.
• Excellent written and good verbal communication skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with and support volunteers/working groups
• Good level of organisation and ability to manage printing and delivery effectively and assist with a range of other TWLD projects 
• Some knowledge of current issues within UK politics and sympathy with the values and principles of the Liberal Democrats.

The following criteria are considered highly desirable:

• Experience of Affinity Publisher and/or other applications used by the Liberal Democrats and in print and digital/online publishing generally.
• Experience of Liberal Democrat campaigns.
• Experience of helping to manage a small office
