Meet the team supporting Gideon Amos at the General Election in Taunton & Wellington:

Phil Stone.

Phil Stone - Campaign Team Chair

Phil is a retired landscape architect who lives in North Curry, Somerset.

He presently chairs the Taunton and Wellington Liberal Democrat Campaign Team

He saw his role as looking after the residents of North Curry and other surrounding villages.

Phil is a Board member of a community Benefit Society called Reimagining the Levels which is involved in activities which will benefit the sustainability of the Somerset Levels.

A key activity for LtR is to initiate tree planting and get over 25,000 trees planted

Sue Levinge.

Sue Levinge - Treasurer

Sue is now in her 8th year of being a treasurer at Taunton and Wellington Liberal Democrats and has been a part of the campaign team through many elections.

Sue views her job as making sure there is enough in the bank to see the campaign through. We are fortunate to have some brilliant fundraisers on the team to keep the money coming in. But we can never have enough to do all that we would like. As a team we work together to make sure leaflets go out on schedule within budget and present our policies and candidate as they deserve. We are incredibly grateful to our generous donors who enable us to do this.

Paul Adams.

Paul Adams - Campaign manager

Pual has worked in precision engineering, then international sales. He started campaigning with 'Britain Stronger In', then 'Somerset for Europe', then Taunton Deane Lib-Dems. He has spent a couple of years helping Sarah Dyke MP win Somerton & Frome, and he is now back with Taunton and Wellington Liberal Democrats.

Virginia Murray - Events Manager

Virginia was a French teacher for over 30 years before stepping back so she could care for her father in 2015. She joined  the Lib Dem team as Ward Organiser and then Membership Officer before the 2019 elections and hasn’t looked back. She lives in Wiveliscombe with her husband and their Welsh springer, and is hoping to see more of them once Gideon has been elected later this year.
